My first working week

Quiet easy start 'back' into working life.
Only 4 days of working and more 'getting to know' than real work.
All colleagues seem to be easy-going, good news.
As well a good start into 'extracurricular activities':
- Monday: Celebrating the (female soccer) German worldcup victory in Frankfurt city and especially!!!! meeting up Azam, a superbe Indonesian guy I met on the streets

- Tuesday: Visiting some appartments and having a drink with Andrea
- Wednesday: Visiting again some appartments and meeting up Anne, a girl I met while visiting an appartment last week...Schalke won as well,-)
- Thursday: bit boring...nevermind
- Friday: Heading directly after work direction work to Düren, arriving just in time to play the second half time with the second team of my recent Düren soccer club Alemannia Straß (bringing them up from a 0:2 to a 2:2 draw)
- Saturday: Mum's day
- Sunday: Playing soccer with the 1st team of Alemannis Straß, just before heading back to Frankfurt

CRAZY WEEK

Jochen at his best. After a ‘JSP-SCHALKE-party weekend’ I was trying quickly to get things arranged jus before the return to working life.

A Sunday 5:5 !!! farewell soccer game with Alemannia Straß, a Monday on the phone, running around to banks etc..then 2 days of looking for an appartment in Darmstadt, insurance, bank etc….a Thursday ill in bed …and then….jipiieee…
Back to France!!!! An evening with Nico in Reims and then the Saturday to Bar-sur-Aube, a tiny little place close to Troyes (about 2 hours south from Paris) to celebrate Marion& Lionel’s wedding! Great day, great weather, great couple, great party, meeting interesting and funny people…everything great.

Sunday driving ‘home’ to my new home which will be for the next month a hotel in Frankfurt…Now, having had my first two days at work, I’m looking forward to finding a flat to feel ‘entirely’ home in Hessen.

More news soon!!

During this program which takes 1 ½ years, I will work on 5 to 6 different projects in different departments of the company (e.g. Marketing, Finance, Logistics).
