24 06 2009 Ubud + Gunung Agung (Pura Besakih)

A bus, another bus and....aahhhhh...why didn't we rent a motorbike??!?!

For any reason, way too many decisions on this travel went wrong.

Shall we head from Ubud to Gunung Agung or stay there a night?

We rather should have stayed..or rented a motorbike...but didn't...

so after seeing the "cultural shopping town" (a city full of shops where you can buy masks, handcrafts) Ubud (aya,there was a monkey forest as well...)...we hitchiked, took a bus, took a cab to arrive late in the afternoon in Gunung Agung.

Really nice to see the largest Balinese temple (Pura Besakih), but ...a pitty...that we couldnt / didnt want (Azaaaam still sad about that!!!) get up at 1 am to do this 6 hour hike ,-(((

Lesson of the day: Take it easy sometimes or do it 100%, but 80% is not that cool
